Produce Supply Chain - South Holland is the best place to do business?

This report (PDF) produced by Spalding Chamber asks the question, "Where is the best place to operate a fresh produce business in the United Kingdom"?

We have taken the old "Garden of England", Kent and compared it with the new "Kitchen of England", South Holland, to illustrate just how good South Holland really is.
This takes into account the most practical and best cost effective total route to the Supermarket including the processing, packing, labelling, warehousing and distribution for non UK produced goods.

Third Annual South Holland Business
Awards 2015 Winners

On Thursday, 19th  November, South Holland's key business leaders gathered at the Springfields Event Centre to celebrate the best in innovation, hard work, entrepreneurial spirit and customer care within the area.

Now in its third year, the South Holland Business Awards once again showcased the outstanding level of innovation and services being developed across our diverse and growing local area.

Spalding Area President Phil Scarlett(Inset: Phil Scarlett, President, addresses the audience)

With the high quality of entries this year, the competition was stronger than ever and it is a significant achievement to have been honoured. The standard of entries meant that it was difficult in most cases to clearly identify the winner, which is why we have decided to recognise entries that narrowly failed to win a category by awarding them a highly commended or commended.

Spalding District Chamber would like to say thank you to PSP IT, the University Academy Holbeach, Ringrose Law, Duncan & Toplis, Definitions Health & Fitness Gym, Chattertons Solicitors, South Holland District Council, Butters Group, Candour Associates and Newton Press for sponsoring the Awards.

A date for your diaries, next year's Awards will take place on Thursday 24th November.
